When VIM asked me to volunteer, my answer was an automatic YES. It is hard to find a better cause. I grew up in need myself, and always wanted to help others when possible. The people I have met at VIM are amazingly generous and caring – that’s just one reason why I have continued to volunteer as an optometrist for over ten years, since before the clinic was open to patients.
